Breathtaking views from this luxurious home, facing onto the “Golfo Paradiso”. Perfectly laid out for mature families or a small group of friends who are looking to enjoy and relax with everything at hand from Pool to Garden to Outdoor Kitchen. Perched over the sea you will be astonished by the views.

This home is divided into 2 separate units, but is rented as one so you will have total privacy and exclusive use of the grounds, pool, and outdoor kitchen and lounge. The Upper Loft Apartment has the dreamy and romantic Master Suite on the upper level and a spacious & open living space, with a 2nd double bedroom and 2nd bathroom, and kitchenette. In the Lower Suite, you will find another 2 double bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms, with open living space, and a kitchenette. There is also an office which can convert to a small extra bedroom. Between the 2 apartments, you will find the glorious gardens, outdoor kitchen and pool waiting for you to relax and unwind.

There is plenty of outdoor space for the whole family to spread out and enjoy. In addition to the pool area, there is a lounge with a full and newly finished outdoor kitchen. You will also find a quiet corner in the shade to read a book, or drink your morning coffee.

The access from the main road is very good. There is a private road from the gated entrance to the house is up a fairly steep hill, as shown in the photos. It is a paved road, that is in good condition. It is a short but winding driveway. There is no problem for parking a large SUV in the private parking space, but be aware that while it is possible to reach the house without a car, we recommend having a car to make it easier to get around. We can arrange for grocery delivery, housekeeping, private chef, driver, you name it.

This home is located between the towns of Camogli and Recco, near Santa Margherita and Portofino. They are all within a short drive, ferry boat ride, hike or bicycle ride. There are some excellent restaurants about a 5 minute walk away from the house. If you don’t plan to come by car, we can arrange for transportation for you from the airport or train station. There are plenty of extraordinary hiking paths to explore in the area, and also biking excursions. Having a car is recommended for exploring and making your way around most easily.

 Verified We had a wonderful week in Santa Margherita. Riccardo was there to welcome us when we arrived and to help us with our bags when we left. The house was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our group. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to cook meals for the family. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms so that everyone had their own space. The view is one that will stay in our minds forever. We hope to come back someday!

 Verified Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche in der Villa. Besonders traumhaft ist der Ausblick. Einer der schönsten Ausblicke, die ich kenne. Sogar nachts ist er ein Genuss.Die Villa war für uns perfekt. Die Jugendlichen hatten ihren eigenen Bereich im Gartenhaus.Tatsächlich waren wir kein einziges Mal abends in einem Restaurant, denn kein Platz wäre schöner gewesen, als die Terrasse. Die Betreuung durch Elana, Nisa und Riccardo ging weit über das hinaus, was wir erwartet hätten. Die Empfehlungen -ob für einen Bootstag oder eine Weinhandlung waren sehr gut. Die drei waren immer erreichbar und haben uns umgehend unterstützt. Als mein Sohn am Ende seinen Pass im Haus vergessen hatte, haben sie alles organisiert, damit wir ihn rechtzeitig vor dem Abflug zurückerhielten. Herzlichen Dank dafür!  Verified We loved staying at 33 al Mar Villa. The villa had everything. There is no need to rush anywhere. The garden is beautiful and well designed. We felt like in our own home but switched our lake view over to the bay view in Rapallo ✨ I want to add that the bunk bed room is so much more spacious then the photos show! It's HUGE and good beds! Elena and her team were very friendly and helpful and ready to assist with anything if needed. 100% Loved it! Like my youngest said "best time ever!" 🧡 - Cordiali saluti ✨

 Verified Our family had a truly magical stay. After our original Airbnb had a last minute issue that couldn’t be solved before check-in, Elana went above and beyond to help us find this stay.  Verified This is a truly magical place! The photos don’t even match the beautiful views and surroundings, especially when sitting on the patio or looking out the windows from the top of the tower. There’s so much history within the tower, so I’d definitely recommend reading the book about the place written by one of the family members (on the upstairs coffee table). Great place to be based to explore Portofino and nearby town (convenient to the ferry). Just be prepared for lots of stairs - great for us to burn off all the delicious food we ate, but might be more challenging for some. Highly recommend!
