A private garage is included with the apartment—one of Portofino’s most valuable amenities. During the busy summer months, when public parking often fills early and visitors face long waits for a space, you can simply arrive, park, and begin enjoying Portofino immediately.
The apartment is on the 3rd floor of a walk up, so you must be ok with stairs. Private parking is a rare commodity in Portofino. The parking lots are very expensive, without any in/out privileges, and first come first serve, but you will have YOUR OWN DEDICATED SPACE. This also allows you to skip the queue upon arrival in portofino when the parking lot fills up. A huge plus!
There will be some paperwork to do upon arrival. We will need to register all guests according to Italian law so will require ID for all guests staying at the property. There is also a tourist tax of €2,50/person (over 15) per night which can be paid at check in.
